ABOUT GADSDEN GUNWORKS
I am an 07 Federal Firearms License holder with the ability to manufacture and sell firearms and ammunition. While I have been in business since 2019, I have been working on and around firearms as long as I remember, and I plan to for as long as I can.
My experience and passion for firearms dates all the way back to my childhood in the Boy Scouts of America. This was one of the first times I picked up a rifle and really got to experience working with one. From earning the rifle and shotgun merit badges, to the various summer camps where shooting was one of the many activities. These experiences continued on to my time as a United States Marine, where I discovered I had a talent for not just shooting firearms accurately, and with precision, but working on them as well. These experiences translated to where I am now with an Associates Degree in Firearms Technology from Sonoran Desert Institute(SDI), where I specialized my studies in the 1911 platform. A tried and true firearm that has, and will be, around for generations.
As a gunsmith, I primarily specialize in the 1911 platform, performing repairs or alterations as well as custom builds. Additionally, I am well skilled in most modern sporting rifles and handguns as well as many obsolete, Relic and Curio Firearms. The Firearm Industry is always evolving. In turn, so must ones skills. If there is a firearm or platform I haven’t worked on yet, I am always up to the challenge.
I take great pride and joy in the work I do, as well as the services I provide, and will stand behind any work I perform. Additionally, I try to keep my service prices competitive with the ever evolving firearm community. If another local shop has a better price, I will do my best to match it.
